Bridge jacking
Freyssinet offers a variety of jacking techniques, including applications that address challenges in both new construction and existing structures or buildings. Jacks can be operated vertically to lift structures, as well as horizontally to move them.
Freyssinet’s capabilities include bridge lifting and sliding, bearing replacement, high-strength bar tensioning, load transfer, pre-stressing, settlement control and compensation jacking, force measurement, and weighing.
Shotcrete
The Freyssinet technique, combined with the dry-process shotcrete method (Foreva® Shotcrete), produces concrete up to class B60.
This method offers several advantages:
Fast and flexible application
Complete adhesion to the prepared substrate
Optimal concrete compaction for enhanced durability
Controlled filling and forming through flow rate adjustment and continuous mix flow in the nozzle
Limited shrinkage of the applied concrete due to precise water adjustment for hydration
Shotcrete can be used for structural alterations alongside other techniques such as installing reinforcement, Carbon Fibre Fabric (Foreva TFC®), metal fibers, additional prestressing, or tie rods.
Corrosion control
Freyssinet provides solutions for controlling the progression of reinforcement corrosion in reinforced concrete at all stages of development.
Strengthening (CFRP & additional prestressing)
Our solution for structural strengthening involves using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) or additional prestressing. This approach enhances the strength of slabs under flexure, beams under bending and shear, columns, and any elements in tension. It also improves the ductility of elements, especially those subjected to accidental dynamic stresses, such as earthquakes.
